    More on UNLEASHED

Okay...I have been waiting DAYS to do this, so here goes.

I looked up the term "unleash" at dictionary.com...this is what I got...

unleash -  (v.) to  turn loose or set free from restraint

WHOOOOO!!!! (Look out, here comes the Rick Flair side of me!)  Can I just say that this is exactly how I feel????
I feel just like Lazarus must have felt when Jesus said "Come forth", and then told the people to "loose him and let him go".

The Unleashed Conference was awesome!!  From the moment we set foot in the building, I caught the vibe.  I say this because Perry Noble and his staff are such SOLD OUT JESUS FREAKS that it is contagious!!!  Both of the general sessions were FANTABULOUS!! I especially loved when Perry talked about looking BEYOND ourselves and focusing on the only thing that matters...JESUS!!! (The part about punching someone in the throat was cool, too!! GO GET 'EM P-Diddy!!!)  And when the girls sang "The Glory" by Avalon while scenes from "The Passion of the Christ" flashed on the video screen, well...let's just say I had a spell!!!  The Breakout Sessions were great, too.  Everyone in both the Youth Ministries Session and the Creative Ministries Session was so helpful and excited to be there, to share with others the passion that they feel in their hearts for serving Jesus and winning the lost.

I have to admit though, there were times when I was like "Jesus, what am I doing here?",  "How on earth can I take any of this home and apply it where I am??", "I'm just a volunteer".  The answer would come later.  When my husband Chris and I had a chance to talk one on one about our experiences there.  You see, we were there together, but we went to different break out sessions.  God dealt with us individually, but also as a couple.  At the very end, when Perry had the Lead Pastors to stand so that their ministry teams and members of their congregations could pray for them, I felt God working.  I could feel Him working in me, and in Chris. (Literally, I reached over to take his hand, and I actually FELT the Holy Spirit all over him!!!)  We weren't there "with our church"...certainly FOR our church, but we were the only two from SFBC in attendance.  It didn't matter.  God knew what he was doing...HE ALWAYS DOES!!! (Isn't that just the neatest thing???)  Thursday night after we made the three hour drive home, had dinner, and unpacked, GOD ROCKED OUR WORLD!!!  We have made a serious decision.  We want to be SOLD OUT JESUS FREAKS!!!  We felt His call...and we answered!!!  "Here am I Lord... SEND ME!!!"  Use me, spend me, shake me, wake me....UNLEASH YOUR POWER IN ME TO REACH A LOST AND DYING WORLD!!!

Thank you Perry Noble, and staff and volunteers (talk about some sold out Jesus Freaks!!!) of NEWSPRING CHURCH!!! Because of YOUR obedience to Christ, we have been UNLEASHED!!!!!
